Photo 101 – Day Five – Solitude & ‘the Rule of Thirds’

Well I have to admit I found the theme of solitude quite difficult for the Photo 101 assignment, however the Rule of Thirds part I quite like. Let me know you thoughts on today’s photo submission…

I used a fish eye lens and hope this give it the vast feeling needed for a shot expressing solitude. Though I think the location say’s more peaceful than lonely. I do like the greenery of the leaves in the first third of the shot though and the bright sun is purposely burned out to give the lens flare effect.

Hope you like.
