Photo 101 – Day Twelve – Architecture & Monochrome

I was excited when I read today’s Photo 101 task, as I love photographing buildings and capturing the character of a place, plus I find monochrome can really change the feel of an image and thus the character of a building. I decided to share a modern building and as a contrast an old one… Hope you like

  1. The comparison really does express the difference in the architecture. The regal manor house seems to be heavy and anchored into place. In contrast, the modern building appears to be light and swift. The glass is so sleek and the pool of water is agitated. Nice composition. I love black and white. In love and light Cheryle
